RULES FOR USE OF THE POOL

Keys:
Each residence is allocated one key which may be obtained by a deposit and an ID. BR IV residents must also show a current copy of their transaction history showing a zero balance within 48 hours of key request. Keys are available at the William Douglas Office located at: 4523 Park Road, Suite 201A.

  • Loaning keys is not permitted.

  • Keep the gate closed and locked at all times.

Hours:

  • Pool hours are 7 a.m. to dark.

  • Swim at your own risk. There is NO LIFEGUARD on duty.

Use of the Pool:

  • Shower before entering the pool.

  • Wear suitable bathing attire.

  • Anyone with skin abrasions, open wounds, coughs, colds, inflamed eyes, infections, or any other contagious condition is not allowed in the pool area.

  • Children under 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times; the adult is responsible for the child’s safety and behavior.
    Any guests must be accompanied by the BR/BR VI resident at all times.

  • Audio devices must be used with headsets.

  • Children who are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers when in the pool.

  • All diapers must be taken home. Do not dispose in pool deck or bathroom trash containers.

  • Dispose of all other trash in containers provided on pool deck and bathroom.

  • Safety equipment is for emergency use only; the health department requires that all safety equipment be in excellent condition and at the proper location at all times.

  • Close umbrellas and return pool furniture to its original location when leaving pool.

The following is prohibited:

  • Diving

  • Illegal substances

  • Alcohol - except at adults-only Association sponsored events.

  • Smoking

  • Running

  • Pets

  • Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, roller skates, or any similar items

  • Air mattresses or other flotation devices

  • Pool furniture in the pool

  • Glass containers (health department regulation - if broken glass is found, the pool will be closed, drained, and refilled at the Association’s expense).

  • Unruly behavior, horseplay, spitting, or ball playing.

  • Rocks, debris, trash, cigarettes, or ashes of any kind.

In the case of an EMERGENCY:

  • The emergency phone is for 911 only. The street address and phone number are listed on the inside of the call box for location identification.

  • Report any other vandalism or other issues to William Douglas: games@wmdouglas.com.

  • All residents agree to release and indemnify the Association from any claims, losses, or liability.

  • Enjoy the pool and help keep it safe for everyone. Failure to observe rules may result in the loss of pool privileges. The Board reserves the right to deny use of the pool at any time.
